Plant Monitoring System

In the era of smart homes and automation, nurturing your plants has become a tech-savvy endeavor. In this project, I explore a captivating maker project — a Plant Monitoring System that lets me keep a vigilant eye on my plants' well-being. This intelligent system, built around an ESP32 S2 mini, capacitive soil moisture sensors, and the DHT22 sensor, seamlessly integrates with Home Assistant for an enhanced plant care experience.

Components

Main Board - ESP32 S2 Mini:

• The central unit, responsible for powering and collecting measurements.
• Programmed with ESPHome in Home Assistant for seamless integration and customization.

Soil Moisture Sensors:

• Four widely available capacitive sensors offer precise soil moisture data.
• Essential for monitoring the hydration levels of your plants.

DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor:

• Provides additional environmental data, enhancing your understanding of the plant's surroundings.
• Offers insights into temperature and humidity conditions crucial for plant health.

3D-Printed Cases:
